Good News Fortnight...
From Monday 30th of April, for two weeks, we will be holding a series of special meetings in which the good news message of Christianity will be explained.
Each night, Monday to Friday, from 7.30-8.15pm, Jack Hay and Gareth Edwards will share the Gospel message and its relevance to us today. Everyone is made very welcome - in previous years many people who aren't regular church-goers have attended and found these services interesting and helpful.
Please get in touch if you would like further details or to arrange transport from anywhere around Perth.
Easter Explored Ends
We rounded off our Easter Explored study course with a day trip to St Andrews last weekend. The course ran for 3 Tuesday evenings, looking at the Prophecy, Agony, and Victory of Easter. On the 4th week we held a Question Night!
Over 30 people who had been on the course took the trip to St Andrews, which included a short tour explaining some of the Christian history of the town (and also some fish n chips!)
We hope to run another course later on in the year - details to follow...
Life's Biggest Questions
For the next three Sundays our lunchtime service will follow the theme of 'Life's Biggest Questions'.
15 April: Where have we come from?
22 April: Why are we here?
29 April: Where are we going?
The services will be taken by a different speaker each week who will provide answers from God's Word, The Bible.
Everyone is welcome. The services are from 12.30-1.15pm and some light refreshments are served beforehand from about 12.10pm.
If you need more information or would like to arrange transport, please get in touch.
Good News Soup Kitchen
Our Good News Trailer continues to visit Thimblerow Car Park every Monday evening from 7.30 - 8.30pm to distribute small bags of groceries to those in need.
We're grateful to Greggs and Tesco for their food donations each week, and for other items supplied by members of the church.
Anyone who's in need of a little help is welcome to come along. Hot drinks and snacks are served while you wait and we share a short 'thought for the day' message from the Bible each week as well.
