THE FUTURE - 4) THE END We rounded off our short series learning about Bible prophecy by considering some of the events right at the very end of God's programme for the future - the destruction of the old world, the dawning of the new world and the day of judgement. We also learnt about Colin's lifestory - how he became a Christian as a teenager having grown up in Glasgow and Ayrshire. 😃 If you're free, please come and join us next Sunday at 7pm in the RDM Institute in Scone.

Join us for our Easter Family Fun Day on Friday 7th April, 10.30-12 noon!  We'll be distributing printed copies of the latest edition of our community magazine, The Signpost, to around 3000 local homes over the next couple of weeks. You can have a read of an electronic version of The Signpost here.  We continued our Future Events series by looking at the "Millennium". We learnt that "The Millennium is an amazing period of 1000 years when Jesus Christ reigns over a rejuvenated earth." We then heard Graeme's life-story and how he became a Christian as a young lad, and how his faith in God has shaped his life since then. Next week we'll be looking at the end of the world as we know it, and learning about the final day of judgement and the creation of new heavens and a new earth. Please join us - 7pm next Sunday in the RDM Institute in Scone.  It was nice to see our Community Lunch getting a half-page article in last week's Perthshire Advertiser. The next lunch is at 1pm on Monday 3rd April for anyone who wishes to join us! All welcome!  THE FUTURE - 2) THE TRIBULATION The room was packed as we continued our series on Bible Prophecy last night by looking at the subject of THE TRIBULATION - "7 years of unprecedented trouble when God pours out judgement upon a world which has rejected Him." Next week we'll be thinking about THE MILLENNIUM when Jesus Christ will reign over the earth for 1000 years. We also heard the life stories of Roy and Fiona Castle and their differing Christian faith journeys. Please come and join us next Sunday at 7pm in the RDM Institute in Scone! 😀  |
